Mrs Adeola Osewa is the board Treasurer for Institute for Peace and Leadership, Inc. She has been very active in many community development organizations for over 25 years assisting with picking up donations, and getting them ready for shipment to groups in her local community in New York City and to organizations in need Nigeria as the Treasurer of Ogbomosho Sons and Daughters in North America (OSDNA) New York Chapter. Most notably, Mrs Osewa works with the City of New York and other non profit organizations in determining the needs of the population in the communities where humanitarian goods are needed. She has been very active for the last 20 years as a Sunday School teacher. She taught at Christ the Rock International, Brooklyn and now in her church Abundant Life Christian Center (ACLC) in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) with a degree in Early Childhood Education, and from Brooklyn College where she studied Liberal Arts. Mrs Osewa is the founder of Addys Daycare and Learning Center in Queens where she provides both After School tutoring and Summer Camp extra curricular activities to youths in the community.
Research, Advocacy and Workshops on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 5 on Gender Equality, Empowering women and Girls and SDG 16 on Peace and Justice. We do this through Interfaith Dialogue, Leadership Skills Development, Cross Cultural Service Learning and Participatory Community Activism.
